Privacy Policy

HypeTime ("HypeTime", "the App", "we", "our") is developed and operated by De Agustín Art, based in Höganäs, Sweden. HypeTime is a fully offline alarm and timer app for iOS.

In short: HypeTime does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Ever.

Data We Collect

None. HypeTime does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to any server.

Data Stored On Your Device

HypeTime stores the following on your device only. It is never transmitted anywhere.

• Alarms and timers: The alarms and timers you create, along with their labels and settings.
• Preferences: Your chosen alarm voice, default sounds, theme, and other in-app settings. Stored using SharedPreferences on the device.
• Imported audio: Audio files you import as custom alarm or timer sounds are stored locally in the app's documents directory. They never leave your device.

All of this data is removed when you uninstall the app.

No Analytics, No Tracking, No Accounts

• No analytics services (no Firebase Analytics, no Google Analytics, nothing).
• No crash reporting that sends data off-device.
• No advertising or ad tracking.
• No user accounts. You don't need to sign up or log in.
• No servers. HypeTime does not have a backend.

Audio and Sounds

• Built-in alarm voices and timer sounds are bundled with the app and play entirely locally. No streaming, no downloads.
• Custom sounds you import are stored locally in the app's documents directory and play locally.
• You retain all rights to any audio you import.

Live Activities and Notifications

• Live Activities use Apple's on-device ActivityKit framework. No data leaves the device.
• Bedtime reminders and alarm notifications use local notifications scheduled on-device. No data leaves the device.

Third-Party SDKs

HypeTime does not include any third-party SDKs that collect, track, or transmit data. The only external system HypeTime interacts with is the Apple App Store, for the one-time purchase of the app. Purchase and billing are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy.

GDPR

HypeTime is fully GDPR compliant because there is no personal data to process, store, or transfer. There are no data subject rights to exercise (access, deletion, portability, objection) because no personal data is ever collected. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.

Children's Privacy

HypeTime is not directed at children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected from any user, none is collected from children either.

Changes to This Policy

If HypeTime's data practices ever change, this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change. Any future change that would involve collecting data will be disclosed clearly before it happens.
